=3= I'm too sleepy to even type something but anyway,
I was playing with Painter blender to make some clouds, and then I drew Ace.. and somehow (using the same sketch) I drew young Roger.. and so this was created :'D
my Roger looked like those guys from jeans commercial, only with shirt on >_>

I finally decided to submit this one here.. I hope you haven't bored with my usual sea/landscape thing arh!

Actually, I think Whitebeard mentioned that they had very little in common: the only personality traits Ace inherited from Roger were his principles to never back down in a fight and to never forgive those who insult or hurt his loved ones. Which, you know... had "consequences" in the future D'X

Yes, indeed. But it got me thinking - true enough, had Ace not decided to fight back, he would have lived. BUT! He promised himself (and Luffy) that they'd live a life with no regrets, and if Ace hadn't stood up to the lava-blob, I'm sure he would have regretted it.

He died to protect the honour and life of his two dearest people. And I even think that he loved Luffy more than he loved his captain... So, Ace died happy. It was the only way he'd want to die - fighting to protect. He died with a smile, and if he hadn't fought back, that smile wouldn't have been there... I have way too much free time on my hands XD
